Dial 911 for Emergency
Fire & Rescue
Fire protection for the Town of Huntersville and its extra-territorial jurisdiction is provided by the Huntersville Fire Department (http://www.huntersvillefd.com).  The Huntersville Fire Department is an independent combination department, made up of paid staffing 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week - supplemented by volunteers serving alongside the paid crews as needed.  The County's volunteer fire departments are funded in part by county fire service districts in the Town's ETJ, with the town paying for capital items.

HFD currently operates out of three stations:

Station #1:  110 North Old Statesville Rd, 704-875-3563
Station #2:  15600 Beatties Ford Rd, 704-875-6266
Station #3:  13423 Eastfield Road, 704-464-5315

HFD currently has over 80 members (volunteers and paid staffing combined) providing fire and rescue service to over 46,000 Huntersville residents and property in the town's 63-square mile jurisdiction.

The Town also partners with the Long Creek Volunteer Fire Department to provide service in the southwestern part of town.  The North Mecklenburg Volunteer Rescue Squad provides first responder EMS coverage and rescue services for the Huntersville fire district surrounding Station #1.
