The Town of Huntersville may grant co-sponsorship status to independent organizations (youth athletic associations) that need or seek Town facilities to provide sports and other recreational offerings to Huntersville residents. The Town's co-sponsored groups are given priority scheduling for facilities, reduced rates for facility rental/usage and other benefits. Acceptance as a co-sponsor group is based on several considerations, including the organization's compatibility with Huntersville Parks and Recreation Department goals, proven number of Huntersville residents served and type of activity.
