Commissioner Nick Walsh is serving his first term. He was elected to the Huntersville Town Board in 2017. Prior to being elected, he served as Vice Chairman of the Huntersville Ordinances Advisory Board. He also served as a volunteer at the Huntersville Police Department.
Walsh attended St. Petersburg College in Florida. He recently retired following a long-term career in technology sales. His work entailed helping businesses and executives create win/win solutions that focus on client needs, contracts and achieving business objectives.
Commissioner Walsh has called Huntersville home for more than 24 years. He is a graduate of both Huntersville 101 and the Huntersville Citizens Police Academy. In addition, he is past president of the Wynfield Homeowners Association.
Walsh is married to Sandi and has two grown children. His hobbies include boating, playing golf, and outdoor activities such as walking and hiking.
