For information on this past Memorial Day Celebration, please read below: 

The Town of Huntersville would like to invite you to the 18th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony taking place at Veterans Park (201 Huntersville-Concord Rd., Huntersville) on Monday, May 27.  Enjoy festive pre-ceremony music at 10:50 am with the Community Singers of Lake Norman.

Starting promptly at 11:00 am, the ceremony will feature Master of Ceremonies Mayor John Aneralla. A moving flag folding presentation by the Cadets from North Mecklenburg High School Junior ROTC. Huntersville Police Department Honor Guard will be posting and retiring the colors led by bagpiper David Thornburg. Honored Guests from each branch of service will be speaking about what Memorial Day means to them and their branch. Selected members from Sons of the American Legion Post 321 will be presenting the wreath. Help our red, white and blue colors waive in the audience using flags handed out by Cub Scout pack 19 and Troop 19.
