Administrative Services Bureau
Administrative Services is responsible for Records and serves primarily as the Business Office of the Department in addition to providing assistance to the public.

Investigations Bureau
Investigations provide an assortment of services such as Emergency Management, Criminal Investigations, Traffic Safety, Police Dispatch coordination with CMPD Dispatch and numerous Community events and services.

Patrol Operations Bureau
Patrol Operations includes Patrol, K9, Community Services and Animal Services, in addition to Alcohol and Solicitor’s Permits.

Animal Services
The Animal Services Unit encourages and assists owners with responsible pet ownership, resolves issues when they arise, and educates the community about peacefully co-existing with the wildlife that is abundant in our area.

Canine Operations
The Huntersville Police Department Canine Operations Section consists of 5 canine handlers.

Community Response Division
The Huntersville Police Department Community Response Division has primary responsibility for the investigation of vice and other narcotics complaints as well as investigations involving task force officers

Criminal Investigations Division
The Huntersville Police Department Criminal Investigation Division investigates more serious or complex crimes.

Honor Guard
The Huntersville Police Department Honor Guard was established in 2001 and continues to enjoy a reputation as one of the finest Honor Guard units in the State.

Traffic Safety Section
The Huntersville Police Traffic Safety Section has the primary responsibility for the planning, analysis, implementation, monitoring, and coordination of the agency’s traffic safety activities.

SWAT
The Huntersville Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team consists of 14 officers including a Team Commander and Tactical Team Leader.
