Summer Youth Camp
Our School Resource Officers teach various classes throughout the year, to help our youth make good choices for their future.
The classes focus on drug and alcohol prevention as well as topics such as effective communication, active listening, how to stop bullying, good citizenship, helping others, and other positive choices.
Our Summer Camp is designed to provide children with positive activities and an opportunity to put what they learned into action.
The camps are organized and supervised by School Resource Officers from the Huntersville Police Department. Our Summer Youth Camps are unique, because they are the only camps where students get to spend the week with police officers on a personal level. We spend an hour or so each day, talking about different aspect of the police department.
