Veterans Day Ceremony

As we enter our 5th Annual Veterans DayVeterans Day Ceremony Parade, Ceremony & Celebration our community is faced with the struggle to feel normal yet stay safe and assist in slowing the spread of COVID-19. This year’s Veterans Day will be celebrated in a different way.

On Wednesday, November 11, 2020, The Town of Huntersville, American Legion Post 321 and Sons of the Legion invite you to honor those who have served, by viewing virtually or in person our Veterans Day Ceremony.

There will be no parade or celebration at the park to keep the gathering time and size small. We will limit in person seating available to the Governor’s gathering size allowed by that date. All seating will need to be reserved through Huntersville Parks & Recreation website. Click to reserve your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11am.

The Town of Huntersville Parks and Recreation Department are looking for photos from the local community for the “Wall of Honor” that will be located at the Veterans Day Celebration. If you have a picture from past/present veterans please send via email (LSmall@huntersville.org) or to Huntersville Parks and Recreation, ATTN: Lindsay Small, PO Box 2879, Huntersville NC 28070.

We look forward to honoring those who have served our Country and Community.
