Treecutting and Limb Removal May Cause Brief Impacts to Traffic on Ranson Road near Stumptown Road Next Week as Crews Prep Area for Ranson Road Improvement Project
Next week, crews will be trimming trees along Ranson Road near Stumptown in advance of this summer’s Ranson Road improvement project. There will be brief lane closures as limbs come down and have to be removed from the roadway.
Road work will begin in June when CMS schools are out for the summer. When finished, the project will improve the intersection of Stumptown and Ranson Roads, add pedestrian signals and extension of sidewalks up to Stumptown to connect to existing sidewalk along the road. Drivers should expect intermittent lane closures between the hours of 9A-4P during the summer construction period.
